Hello Kwethluk
Elections for City of Kwethluk, Alaska City Council are coming up in December, anyone interested in running for candidacy please come by the City office for a candidacy form. Available seats are as follows:
Seat A: Appointed seat ending 10/2025.
Seat B: Appointed seat ending 10/2025
Seat C: Appointed Seat ending 10/2025
Seat D: Appointed seat ending 10/2025
Seat E: Appointed seat ending 10/2025
Seat F: Appointed seat ending 10/2025
Seat G: Appointed seat ending 10/2025
All seats will be vacant this coming December elections, all candidates wishing to run for council seats will need to declare candidacy. Write-ins are no longer accepted ballots, and previous seats not with candidates will not be counted as official… they will need to have special elections to fill vacant seats. Previous candidates will not be allowed to force candidates into service, all actions taken will not be official as a result, that includes payments to vendors, payroll, and gaming payments. State of Alaska requires elections for all vacant seats.
