State of Alaska Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management has opened disaster assistance to individuals affected by the river flooding, including damages to the Spring/Summer/Fall subsistence camps are included in this disaster assistance. Eligibility requirements do apply as this is a disaster assistance, must be damage associated with river flooding.

Requirements for Homeowners and Renters are:

Photo’s of damages, damages to vehicles, damage to structural integrity

Subsistence Camp (Spring/Summer/Fall) Requirements are as follows: CANNOT BE A PITCH TENT, OR POP-UP TENT.

Must have GPS coordinates, or detailed directions to the subsistence camp area, Photo’s of the damages to structures like fish racks, game process areas, smokehouses, cabin or framework with platform for canvas wall tents; or you can stipulate a canvas wall tent is used during the camping season – so long as there are structures that you own and built yourself with family members.
